  • Hazard ID Assessment – Pipe Manufacturing Plant

    Latitudes Environmental performed a third-party audit of a new safety management system (EHS Insight) which was being implemented at a pipe manufacturing plant in Baytown, Texas. We reviewed hazards which have been previously identified throughout the different work areas (referred to as ‘Business Entities’) and then toured the facility to verify these hazards on the ground. During our field visits, we interviewed the operations personnel to get their input on hazards associated with their work areas. Hazard details were revised, and suggestions were made as to the general organization of data within EHS insight. A summary report was prepared to document key discoveries and recommendations.
