"MY FORMULA FOR SUCCESS?"..."RISE EARLY. WORK LATE. STRIKE OIL."

J.Paul Getty (1892-1976)

This work involved a comprehensive records review and site visits to all facilities to identify conditions which may represent environmental risk. Standards of ‘good industry practice’ in exploration and production operations were also considered.

Specifically, we developed a standard checklist to document and photograph site conditions: well pad and tree, pumps, separators, storage tanks and piping. Special attention was paid to:

  • pollution prevention and waste management practices

  • secondary containment systems

  • emissions and discharge control systems, and

  • general equipment condition.

We interviewed key operations personnel regarding management practices, wellsite history, past incidents, and use of chemicals at the location.

Wild West Due Diligence

A final due diligence report was prepared and delivered to the client in 22 days from notice to proceed with this work.
